You can know God personally, and know with certainty that you will go to heaven when you die.

God loves you and has a wonderful plan for you. He wants you to walk in his peace and joy now, and then spend eternity with him in heaven.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 WEB

But sin has separated us from God, and deep down we sense that separation. We know that we have strayed from God and his ways, and need his forgiveness.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23 NLT
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.
1 John 1:8-10 NLT

Jesus made the way for us to return to God by paying the penalty for our sin, through his death on the cross. He was buried, rose again, and now awaits us in heaven.
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
John 14:6 NLT
Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NLT

Christ is knocking at the door of our hearts, waiting for us to open and receive him as Lord and Savior.
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift of God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

When we open our heart’s door to receive Christ, we become God’s children. We are born again spiritually into a life of meaning and purpose.
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
John 1:12 NLT

You can receive Christ right now, by sincerely praying a prayer similar to the following.
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and need you. I am ready to turn from my sin and receive you into my heart and life. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and thank you for doing it. Please forgive me for my sins and make me into a new person. Please come into my life, take control of it, and make me into the kind of person you want me to be.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Nurture your relationship with Christ by praying and reading your Bible daily. And find a Bible-believing church that can help grow your faith.
Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
